Women Leadership Summit – September 2013

The September 2013 Women Leadership Summit is a three day collaboration of over 100 organizations. Taking place in New York City, it brings together 82 speakers in order to foster awareness and implement change through women empowerment. The event features CEOs, celebrities, entrepreneurs, and other inspiring women from a plethora of industries. All bring their own personal and professional experiences as innovators, trail blazers, and leaders–and all hope to see change for this deeply entrenched, industry-wide issue.

Together, these speakers, corporations, organizations, and media partners join forces to create a network that inspires action and moves the needle on women leadership.

We are providing a platform to scale leadership development with the support of GGGRIT.com. Every woman can be connected to the most relevant people to help with personal and career development; advice; and opportunities. Join the first of its kind matching network (use code WLSNYC).

Made possible by The Hatchery, BNY Mellon, The Happiness Assembly, Wall Street Journal and XO Group.

Generous gifts are provided by Bionova and Uber.

The Circle by Tina Lifford – New York Premiere brought to you by Southwest Airlines®

An interactive play on women empowerment through the stories of 7 women.

6pm at One Bryant Park – Bank of America – 42nd Street and 6th Ave. RSVP REQUIRED

The Circle is a 90-minute powerhouse of a play. Seven women from all different backgrounds and walks of life boldly and unreservedly explore the constant weight of other’s expectations, opinions and demands they carry with them every day.

Hilarious, heart-wrenching, raw, but ultimately empowering, this play compels the audience along an introspective journey, inviting each person to remove the weight she also carries, and encouraging her to courageously assert and embrace herself.
